I am delighted to share the good news that Ekin Yagis passed her PhD viva today with minor corrections.
Prof. Luca Citi and I have supervised Ekin's thesis work on Diagnosis of Neurodegenerative Diseases using Deep Learning (find more about the project here). Her external examiner was Dr Juan Domingo Gispert, an expert on neuroimaging.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Haider Raza as internal examiner and Dr. Maria Kyropoulou and Dr. Borzoo Rassouli as supervisory panel members for their insightful comments and suggestions for improving the thesis work.
