I am excited to announce that I have been appointed as the Chair of the CLEF (Conference and Labs of the Evaluation Forum) initiative. Together with Alberto Barrón Cedeño, we will be coordinating this important association, taking over from Nicola Ferro, who has led CLEF for the past 15 years.

CLEF is a global platform for evaluating information retrieval systems, bringing together over 200 research groups from around the world. The initiative plays a vital role in advancing the development of innovative information access technologies through large-scale evaluations and collaborative research.

I am truly looking forward to contributing to the continued success of CLEF and working with a global network of researchers to push the boundaries of this field. Stay tuned for updates on CLEF's initiatives and exciting developments in information access!
